Leadings Ladies VOL. 4

Leadings Ladies VOL. 4 is here, and what a month we have planned! We decided to announce the whole month early to give everyone time to plan ahead, and of course get that sweet sweet physical media. Have you been waiting for the right moment to get the The Wizard of Oz in 4K? The time has come, and we have your physical media needs met. Blu-rays 4Ks DVDs VHS we have it all (okay maybe not VHS).

Below is the 70mm approved selection of discs!

As an Amazon Associate, 70mmn earns commissions from qualifying purchases.

1. X (2022) and Pearl (2022)

The long awaited return of the double VHS double featch presentaysh on 70mm. It's been 12 years since we did Deep Impact / Armageddon and the hype still hasn't cooled off. We had to bring it back for the master of Horror Ti West!

Get X on Blu-ray here.

Get Pearl on Blu-ray here.

2. Maxxxine (2024)

Some are saying Mia Goth's Magnum Opus. Is this the biggest movie of the year? Where were you? etc. don't miss it bby, nothing like a fresh flick on the pod.

See Maxxxine in theaters July 5th!

3. The Wizard of Oz (1939)

Listen, we know the 4K cover is a disaster, but the remaster looks so friggin good we are going to have to power through and just DEAL. Or maybe bug Danny to design a new slip cover? Don't do that (but pls Danny if you are reading this we need you).

Get The Wizard of Oz on Blu-ray here.

4. Serial Mom (1994)

John Waters and Kathleen Turner back on the podcast for the very first time! Proto and Danny will be viewing for the first time whereas Slim said this was the moment he became a man -- something like that, we will have to wait to hear the story on the episode.

Get Serial Mom on Blu-ray here.

5. Carol (2015)

Todd Haynes needs to be checked for PEDs. Actually scratch that, just let him keep cooking because we are truly blessed by what he has delivered. The love for his work is off the charts and especially for this Christmas Classic (Christmas in July are we genius). Todd Haynes back on the podcast for the very first time.
